Couldn’t get into our normal vet. Our dog is nearly 15 yrs old and we thought he was on his way out. Wouldn’t eat or drink anything. Found out it was a nasty infection. I couldn’t believe it. He was back to himself in a couple days. We’re switching vets.

Been a customer since 2006 with 4 cats, at first service and care was good. After Debra Rakes left everything began to go down. Most recent visit July 2015 was the worst experience I have ever had w ith a Vet. They took my cat into a treatment area and while in there for nearly a half hour I heard my cat screaming, tech returned him dumped him on the table and walked out. New female Vet comes in tells me he has tape worms (inside cat?) and is dehydrated tells me very little else and again takes my pet back to their treatment area. Comes out and suggests I should have his teeth cleaned to the tune of $265 then leaves (felt like when you take your car for an oil change and the tech tells you how bad everything looks but for a price they can fix it). Later tells me they will use a topical for tapeworms and says my other pets should be treated (again all are inside cats???) After another very long wait in excess of a half an hour returns my cat with no explanation, then a tech brings me one tube of meds for tapeworm when I asked about the meds for the other cats and the antibiotics she just leaves with no explanation. I asked for the Vet to get an explanation and she finally brings in the meds again with no explanation this time accompanied by a Bouncer looking tech. I finally realize that the session was over and still no explanation about treatment, diagnosis or anything. The bill was $475 for a visit and I did not receive an explanation, diagnosis, was treated rudely, and did not receive a follow-up call that I had asked for. I asked the receptionist to ask Dr. Garrison to call me. I would give no stars but I need to make a point on how my cat and I were treated, horrible, very unprofessionally.

Want compassion don't go here

I had to take my 7 mo. old kitty to this vet because she was having trouble breathing. I didn't have all of the $500 right then and there. Luckily my mom agreed to let me use her debit card or these people would have let my kitty die right then and there. The vet, Einstein, after she got her money, told me if I didn't hear from her overnight that it was good news. As I was driving over there to pick up my baby, relieved that I hadn't heard anything, feeling happy I was going to bring her home, the vet calls me and says she was not getting better. Why didn't she call me, and why did she only realize that after having my kitty for 11 hours. This vet couldn't even offer a definitive diagnosis after many costly tests. I am still in shock. I will never ever go to Buffalo Ridge again... All they care about is money, not your pet.

The staff person that answered...

The staff person that answered the phone was so rude and not helpful at all that I wouldn't trust them with my pet period.
