He earned his medical degree at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles. He completed his internship and residency at Glendale Adventist Medical Center in Glendale, California. Dr. Chen describes himself as down-to-earth, very patient, understanding, open-minded, and having a good sense of humor.
