No complaints when it comes to the price. You get what you pay for. It is a very small theater...with a small screen. If you can get a good seat, its worth it.
Even before our now present recession, a $4.75 theater ticket is still a bargin. Once you pay in cash, you should be aware that this is not your expansive 20-screen multi-plex indoor cineama stadium. Seven or eight screens are up close and personal like the ones people have in their large basements. Ticket lines and concession stand lines are short and move because of the "no credit card" policy which is good for people like me whose "plastic ain't fantastic!" The seats are comfortable but if you are "pleasingly plump" take the two seats closest to entrance way when you enter one of their theaters (check for handicapp people first-it's their turf!) Do not expect reclining seats with multiple cup holders, so bring your table manners when eating and storing your purchases from the concession. One complaint, they do not serve popcorn in the big bucket but the display does look inviting! Smile, enter, and enjoy. Now, shhhh! the movie's on.
i really like this movie theater, maybe i'm the nostalgic type but it is a 50's theater showing new movies for only $4. if you like a bargain and can't stand the long lines and heavy crowds this theater is for you! even the snack stand prices are cheaper. the seats are not the best in the world but they are not uncomfortable and the sound is decent, air conditioning is pretty good. the theaters are not big but there are not a lot of people coming here especially during the week, movies usually start after 7pm, sometimes earlier. staffed mostly by high school kids but they are all friendly and efficient workers. the bathrooms are small but neat and the whole place is well kept regardless of the fact that it has not been renovated, and the best part is that the movies shown are a great selection of new movies that have been out for 2 weeks or so. definitely worth the money!!
