        Overall

        I've been going to May's a very long time (when I'm in town). Bought a brisket there, asked them to trim. They trimmed 4 lbs of fat and charged me the original price (12 pounds). Statesville meat processing only charges for the amount you end up with. I called to express my frustration and May's said that's they way they've always done it. Oh well. Statesville meat processing, here we come!

        Great processing, professional

        I have used Mays for several years now and am very happy with them. My animals are treated well, they are an Animal Welfare Approved processor, carcasses are cut well and to my specifications ( pork, beef, lamb and goat), sausages are great, packaging is neat and professional, easy to talk to if a problem comes up, clean and well maintained facility.
