Foster's Exotic Pet Center

quite disappointing depressing. Not to add dark dingy and quite honestly gross. I feel dirty when leave. The small animals mammals are all crammed in one room. The employees mentioned the stink saying they only spot clean once a week even with ferrets. Many smaller are trapped in wrong contianer housing such as small glass tanks with water bowls instead of drippers I can go on about just that section animals together shouldn't be etc. The birds are in pens or cages and you can clearly see there is a hierarchy and the birds are picking on each other and fighting not to mention, thats mainly how birds spread disease. As they have them flying around store not picking up after they pop. Nothing is right about there practice. The reptiles are slightly cared after but not great housing either. I've perosnnaly been in and out of this store for 21 years of my life. I'm 29 got my first animals here probbly got my intrest going sad I always have hated and regret going here I'm finally stopping. I know the owner *Bruce Foster and his Wife I'm personally In the reptile and amphibian aswell as saltwater and freshwater aquatics for a living. I've personally sold Bruce his managers and employees animals pets out of my stock list and watched them take terrible terrible care of the animals. The freshwater fish r treated terribly and saltwater tanks is disgusting one of worst fish section I've seen In years generally just the store I'm finally stopping myself doing any buisness here. I'm truly not trying to be malicious or evil. But I have a heart am in very very similar work if u care or love animals or the right practices and care DO NOT GO here. I'm sure it's fine stop in get your 8 yr old reptile bulb overpriced* I'm one to never want to shop at chain stores either. BUT (Bruce foster) and his store are terrible. One example I personally sell an exact lizard for 15$ i personally gave Bruce these animals watched him charge 75 I'm all for making money etc but not evil and taking advantage of ppl. I'm just completely disappointed grossed and creeped out I've spent alot of time an effort at this location..I just want it be be heard by someone ,something know really wont affect but its tru. I've heard him say some strange pervey things about his workers and young girls that come in. Only females work for him... for 20+ years no problem but creepy...

Nice Store. Long time in the Pet Business. Quality supplies and Animals...very knowledgeable.
