WellCare

WellCare is probably the worst company I've ever tried to deal with in my life. I stress the word "tried" because I can never directly reach anyone except reps located outside the US. My most recent misadventure was filing a grievance, and after 1 month receiving a letter from the Corporate location in Tampa, FL, stating my grievance was resolved. The letter itself starts stating they "crafted a personal response just for (me)." Then there was a paragraph with a high level description of my initial complaint, followed by 3 more paragraphs stating how wonderful WellCare is. Then there was a number to call if there were any questions, and the letter was signed by A. Jenning, member resolution team.
I first tried calling the number, which after getting a recording with numerous options - none of which was to speak to anyone regarding a grievance or really speak about anything, connected me to someone in Mexico that I couldn't clearly hear or understand. That person did ask if there was a signature on the letter, which there was, and he tried to find that person. He asked me to hold, then said he was transferring me. I had a dead line for about 5 minutes and decided to hang up. I then looked up the Tampa location - got their corporate phone number 813-290-6200 and called that. I chose the option for corporate directory, which firsts asks for a "first name", except the letter wasn't signed with a first name, only an initial - so I couldn't use that option. Then I tried to reach the main switchboard, but only received a general voicemail message.
This is probably the 10th time I've tried to reach someone in any type of capacity at WellCare - but the result has always been the same - you just can't, and by the way they 'sign' letters, using only a first initial - it seems totally deliberate.
This company should be known as "BadCare"
