        The Fleet Maintenance Division is a part of the Department of Public Works, which is governed by the City of Tampa in Florida. The division provides fueling, vehicle and equipment repair, and fleet acquisition and disposal services. It also provides logistical support for the city government s fleet of more than 2,500 vehicles. The Fleet Maintenance Division performs preventive maintenance services on equipment according to manufacturer s specifications and city needs. The Department of Public Works is responsible for providing safe mobility and parking convenience to the city residents, as well as facility management services. Its parking division is responsible for overseeing public and residential parking locations throughout the city.
