Guardianship
As a community activist and youth mentor, Tamara was integrally involved in the Urban League of Broward County’s Juvenile Crime Diversion Program and Youth Summit on Juvenile Crime Prevention programs. She served as a mediator between minors and parents to find appropriate resolutions of family matters, and provided legal assistance to parents and caretakers on the Florida guardianship rights of persons with disabled children.

Wrongful Death
Prior to law school, Beau worked as a certified paralegal for a civil litigation firm in cases against Fortune 500 companies. She assisted clients in a wide array of claims, including personal injury, wrongful death, tortious interference with contractual rights, obtaining property by false pretenses, and unfair and deceptive trade practices. This experience reinforced her desire to advocate on plaintiffs’ behalf and provide exceptional client service to the underdog.
Misdemeanors
After law school, he worked fourteen years as a criminal trial lawyer, including nine as an Assistant State Attorney in Broward County, prosecuting and defending every crime from misdemeanors to murder, including defending multiple clients facing the death penalty (never lost a client). He worked another fourteen years in general civil trial practice, both as plaintiff and defense counsel, on behalf of clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to representing the homeless in Federal Civil Rights litigation, trying cases in state and federal courts up and down Florida from Key West to Pensacola.

. As an Assistant State Attorney, he personally tried more than 160 jury trials, of which 150 he tried by himself. More than fifty of his jury trials were First Degree Murder cases.

His extent of involvement in fire-related insurance claims has led him to active involvement in the National Fire Protection Association, National Association of Fire Investigators, and the International Association of Fire Investigators. Mr. Grose has been honored to speak regarding various subjects to the AAJ, FJA, Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters, the Windstorm Network, and the Insurance Committee for Arson Control.

Jeffrey “Jeff” Carter began his legal career representing business entities in commercial litigation and insurance carriers in general liability matters. Rising to partner at a prominent Florida panhandle law firm, Jeff’s practice grew to include construction disputes, condominium and homeowners’ associations, intellectual property and entertainment law, municipal law, service as county and city attorney, general business counsel, and first-party property loss claims against insurance carriers.
Property Damage
During law school, Ms. Kuhn spent several years working as Chip Merlin’s paralegal assisting homeowners and businesses with property damage claims in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, through litigation and trial. Ms. Kuhn also managed commercial coverage litigation issues, which included complex discovery and claim file investigations.

To broaden these legal tools at his disposal, Mr. Gregory ventured to work as an insurance attorney handling cases on behalf of various insurance carriers, including cases related to first party property, general liability, and personal injury. He provides an insightful perspective due to his years working for insurance companies, and now utilizes his talents and services for the benefit of the policyholders.
