German Bistro

It has been over 15 years that I walked into a restaurant and felt so welcome. The beer food music and especially the employees were beyond anything I ever expected. every thing was perfect wish I could give it a ten star rating!!

Finally! German food comes to South Tampa. I've been eating at the German Bistro since they opened their doors just a few short months ago. The food is fantastic and the prices reasonable. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and make you feel at home from the time you walk through the door. The German music in the background leaves me longing for my childhood days spent at Grandma's house and the aroma coming from the kitchen just reinforces the memories.



Although I usually order the Jaegerschnitzel, Bratwurst or Knockwurst, the Rouladen, Leberkaes and Schweinsbraten are especially good. Their sauerkraut is to die for! I think they somehow got my Grandmother's recipe for their German potato salad as it is right on the mark.



Breakfast items are mostly traditional American with a German twist. The breakfast potatoes with peppers and onions are wonderful. Pair them up with a good old fashion Bratwurst and you can't go wrong.



A wonderful eating experience in all and I will continue to frequent this establishment as I never tire of delicious German food.
