Dr. Frank D Mastandrea, MD

I have been treating with Dr Mastandrea for 3 months now. During my first visit and every visit thereafter, both the doctor and staff have always behaved in a very professional manner. Staff is respectful, kind and caring. Dr Mastandrea clearly explained my medical condition and treatment options available. His original recommended treatment plan for me was conservative and non-invasive. By no means was Dr Mastandrea quick to put me "under the knife." I really appreciated that. My kidneys have been producing, passing and storing stones for over 30 years. Dr has been the very FIRST urologist ever to try to pinpoint the "cause" of my particular type of stones. In doing so, (results still pending) hopefully I will have deeper insight as to better being able to lessen the chance of more developing in the future. I highly recommend Dr Mastandrea to anyone needing a skilled, professional and compassionate Urologist. Appointment scheduling has never been a problem, and wait times in his office have never exceeded 10-15 minutes.

This is the worse doctor in the area my husband paid him 16,000.00 cash for a robot operation prostate cancer 40.00 copay all the time never missed

has been with him 3 1/2 years because afterwards he decided to take our insurance humana and we still continued with him . my husband life was on his hand supposly last week the nurse or billing secretary came and told us that the balance was 1000.00 because of their incorrect billing incorrect dx we said its okay we will pay 500.00 by thursday and today the copay she asked us to leave the office because until we would have the money then we told her and fix it with the insurance also ,then we asked to speak to the doctor and he did not come out at all IS THIS A DEDICATED DOCTOR AFTER THREE YEARS WHAT HAPPEN TO HIS OATH ? I am asking for everyone to support us and dont go there he is not worth as doctor or person my husband left crying his office his secretary in the most unrespectful and laughing said if you found the money all that money you could do it again and the doctor heard her and did not stopped her is this a DOCTOR ??? we called the insurance and we were told this is a shame!!! Doctor FRANK MASTANDREA the board needs to know this and find out about your behavior. Moffitt hospital staff were surprised to hear this case ,my husband has fallen in the most terrible depression after this he had so much confidence on him and never thoughed to be treated in such unrespectful way after giving this doctor so much money with the insurance and in cash this is our coment on this physician
