        Dr. Yakubu has been caring for the children and families of the Tampa area for almost 30 years. She received her medical degree from the University of Benin in Nigeria and completed her pediatric residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Ohio. She has been Board Certified in Pediatrics since 1990. Prior to opening her own practice, she served the community by working as a pediatrician in urban community health clinics in Hillsborough County. Since opening the Children’s Health Center, she has maintained her commitment to providing quality patient care to the communities that need it the most. Dr. Yakubu is known for her kind, efficient and straightforward approach to caring for her patients. She has cared for thousands of children throughout her career, many are the children and grandchildren of her former patients. She is well-respected and known throughout the Hillsborough county medical community and beyond.

        Dr. Elizabeth Yakubu is a pediatric surgeon. Her website states that she specializes in the well being of infants. However, she rents her home located at 17507 Woodthrush Pl, Tampa, FL, 33647 to a convicted registered s*xual offender. I live a few houses down and am the concerned parent of a young daughter. There are over 40 children living on this block. I have attempted to contact Dr. Elizabeth Yakubu to respectfully request that she not renew the lease with a s*xual offender. She has not responded. Does this pediatric doctor value the rental income more than the safety of my daughter and the other children possibly at risk? Is this the type of person that you want providing healthcare to your children?

        Can count on them

        I have been there with my children twice, Good staff and Doctor. I didnt care that they accepted so many walk ins, I feel I have an appointment and that should be there priority.
