Carrollwood Community Animal Hospital

I wouldn't take my cat to any other vet. The staff is wonderful - very caring, responsive and always go above and beyond for me (cutting pills for me, making sure my cat gets the right cage when I board him, etc). I hope he isn't offended but I think of Dr. Jones as a country vet. He doesn't do needless procedures and advises on the best course of action and that isn't always surgery. I estimate that he has saved me at least $6500 over the last couple of years by not rushing in with the most expensive procedure. They even put up with my grouchy old cat. I moved and there is another vet closer to me but I wouldn't even consider taking my Fatboy to another vet. The staff spoils him so much when I board him I don't think he would be happy if I did!!

This is a small vet hospital with a friendly staff, clean atmosphere, and prompt service (they return phone calls, get labs out and set up appointments quickly.) The vets are nice and they do offer an array of services such as kennelling, medical appointments, advice, etc. I believe they serve cats, dogs, ferrats, and rabbits, I'm not sure if they do anything else. The vets know my pets by name and when I'm in there to buy food they always ask about them. The only thing that I dislike about this vet is that they can be a bit pricey - nothing over the top but it just seems a bit expensive for some things (but I suppose that that's the way it is with vets!) Overall, a good place that you can feel good about bringing your "fuzzy children" to.
