Had high hopes when this opened nearby and was hoping that I had another good BBQ place. I'm not sure what happened, but the food there has changed from when they first opened. The ribs went from being good to being dry and without much flavor. Over the course of three visits, I've noticed the green beans taste like they have sugar dumped on them, and the okara become so salty that we couldn't eat it. There's some other items on the menu that have fared better; the sausage was consistently good and the turkey my family really likes. Chicken was very dry and one dimensional. But I don't see myself being a regular customer anymore due to the changes in taste / quality.

Aside from the food the place looks great, staff is nice, and they have the crushed ice everyone likes in the soda fountain machines.

I don't think anyone in Tampa would argue with me that they have the best BBQ in the city. Maybe in FL. Everything here, including the sides, are to die for.
