New Begginings Recovery

A scam? Are you kidding me? My grandson is at this place now and just in 3 weeks I've been able to hear a difference in his voice over the telephone. I've prayed for years that he would change and praise God I can give him the glory for making a way for him to be at New Beginnings. I hear him finally talking about hope for the future and how much this place has helped him, and that's a big difference from 2 months ago when he wanted to kill himself. Praise God for this place and the people that work there. Hes been in 2 other programs and didn't last but 2 days in one and 1 week in the other so I know God is in this place! Also, I saw where someone said it was about money, I know they took him in without a fee when the other places wouldn't. I asked him if I needed to send him money and he said no, they are really good about working with us. He also said they are in the process of installing a pumped septic system somewhere on the property which is probably why there might be digging in the yard. My opinion is that if there are 60 people there, then praise God ,that's 60 people that is able to have a chance just like my grandson. Praise God!

My nephew was at this program and did outstanding. Although he only stayed 5 months and didn't stay the full 12 months, he has done great since leaving there. I met 2 of the managers there and talked to one frequently while checking on my nephew. These managers truly care about these men in need of recovery and their future success.

A SCAM!!!!!!!! The program coordinator never even finished the program and what little of it he did, he was drinking the entire time. He continues to drink when he goes home and constantly calls the house to bark out orders while under the influence. Even better is that HE JUST finished DUI classes meaning he got a DUI while employed at A RECOVERY CENTER! They claim that it is faith based but honestly it is just a work release and all they care about is $$$. There are over 60 men in this ONE house, a house where there are only 2 showers which NEVER HAVE HOT WATER and 2 washers and dryers that hardly work. You pay $880 a month and youre lucky if you get 2 COLD meals a day, never lunch! They never drive clients to work or to court, they put that RESPONSIBILITY ON OTHER CLIENTS and most of the time people are late for work because of that and as i client if you dont drive then they will make your life hell. I could go on for hours about this but, oh yea and the septic tank backs up in the halls and basement on a regular basis and the septic tank has been dug up and open for weeks now as they PUMP IT INTO A CREEK IN THE BACK YARD, dont believe me just ride by! They only care about the money and thats why theyve got people stacked on top of people and ARENT CONCERNED ABOUT THE CONDITIONS THEY HAVE PEOPLE LIVING IN ONE BIT!!

This place is a joke. Only 1 person that works there cares .Theres a man that manages it during the day and he’s a drunk. He has got to where he comes in smelling like alcohol not something someone who is a recovering alcoholic needs to smell or be around. He has even talked on the phone to some of the residents while drunk.Its sad but he needs a rehab more than some of the men in there.Dont go there or allow your family to.

My boyfriend is in this rehab. He is in there for meth , crack and being an alcoholic. I went to pick him up on his last visit home and his counselor smelled like he’d been drinking.not only that my boyfriend said it’s been happening a lot.im not really anyone to know who’s qualified to do whatever in life I just have a ged but I think you should practice what you preach in a job like that.
