Country Pepper

The description is misleading. I searched for Home Cooking and this came up first in Suwanee.
It's home cooking if you are from Jamaica. The sign on the door says Jamaican Restaurant, but that doesn't appear on the search or on Yelp.
I found 1 item that I felt I would like and I was right. The Chicken dish was good.

I have been living in Suwanee for 7 years and drove by country pepper(recently opened). My wife and I decided to give it a try and it was Amazing!

1st the service was wonderful. Good old Caribbean customer service



2nd they are clean. Newly opened so extra clean.



3rd the indoor- outdoor was a plus atmosphere.

Last but not least

The food was fresh and authentic Jamaican. If you like spicy or not they have it.

Good stuff! I recommend

For the main course, I decided to go with Oxtail with Rice and red Beans, lightly served with Fried Plantains and mixed cabbage. The Oxtail was sinfully seasoned left you licking bones to the very last drop... The dish was executed perfectly, with each of the bright colors of the ingredients peeks through the rice and oxtail. I find the people to be warm and friendly, Very clean and open, also did I mention the price was right for the amount of food served... Welcome to Suwanee, Jamaican Authentic Food this side of Northwest Georgia.
