My Computer Guy

i called them when i saw an ad online because i needed to get some pictures and music back. my laptop broke and the warranty provider told me that it was the harddrive and that they were going to replace it. i asked them if they would back up my stuff but they said that since the harddrive was bad they couldn't do it it anymore. i took the laptop to the geek squad and they wanted to charge like 200 dollars so i took it to this place down the street and they wanted to charge 150. i was almost willing to pay that 150 but then i saw the ad for My Computer Guy and they claimed they were cheap so i decided to give it a try.



i talked to joel and he said he could come out and check it out for free since we didn't live too far apart. he was only about ten minutes late but i couldnt blame him because he had to endure thanksgiving holiday traffic to get to my place. whe he got here he got to work right away. he was very professional and wouldnt even take any beer i offered him.



after a few minutes he managed to get into my computer with no problem! he said the harddrive wasnt even bad and that they had probably said that because they didnt want to deal with whatever was wrong with it. he backed up all my files into my wife's laptop anyway, in case something went wrong again.



He only charged me 35 dollars for the service and he was on his way. definitely a good deal, i think. he also installed an antivirusand some program for other stuff to help keep my comptuer in shape, now it's running FAST.



needless to say, his card is now hanging on my fridge.
