Overall

Unfortunately, it isn't possible to give a negative amount of stars. Made an appointment for rather minor, chronic issue that although not needing surgery does cause a great deal of pain, especially at work and while driving. Was told, even while I was at the office in an examining room, that the doctor would be in. I never saw him. I did see a physicians assistant and staff, all of whom were pleasant enough. I was told my condition limited activities, and was instructed to do stretching exercises. However, I was never told specifically what activities I should limit, or give instructions re: exercises. When I inquired as to what specific activities I should limit, I was instructed not to shake hands, nor mix things in a bowl while cooking, and to pick up my purse with my palm up. Then, I had to be "fitted" with braces for my forearms and something to support both elbows. Fitting consisted of taking the items out of the box and putting them on my arms and elbows, and then affixing a sticker advertising their services. I asked if I'd be seeing the doctor; the staff member left the room to check, came back and mouthed "no" while shaking her head. I was then summarily dismissed with instructions to "go out front and pay." I also had stated that I did not want any medication; of course, I was prescribed medication, one that I discovered could have some pretty serious side effects one individuals with asthma and hypertension (that would be me). I suppose the doctor or Wizard of Oz or whomever did not come out from behind the curtain because he felt my condition did not merit his time or effort. And that would be fine, if I had been told in advance of my appointment. I also got the distinct impression (hopefully I am incorrect) that I was regarded as just another middle aged woman whose problems were all in her head. Well, perhaps I do take Cymbalta, but I assure you I am in no immediate danger of being Baker Acted. In short, I would not recommend this physician (whoever he is, maybe he doesn't exist) to ANYONE WITH A PULSE, particularly if you're a woman over 50 that does not need surgical intervention (that's where the $$$$ is I guess), Live and learn, I guess.
