Provided by SuperpagesWhen we learned Berryland had been sold a few years ago (many years ago, actually), we wereworried because it was our favorite little breakfast spot. But the woman who bought the place -- Lola is her name -- not only kept the recipes to our favorites the same, she addedstuff like homemade freezer jam and cheerful decor that changes with the season. Thinkof the way your favorite school teacher would change decorations in the classroom, and you'vegot an idea of what Berryland's atmosphere is -- sweet and charming. The food is great. The pancakesare huge and delicious. The SOS (biscuits and gravy) is the best in town. The oatmeal is sensible(for those days when you're concerned about health.) They also offer many half-portions at a lowerprice, so you don't have to eat yourself sick in order to enjoy a bit of devilishly good breakfast. It is crowded on a weekend, but always worth the wait. Also interesting -- the cross section of humanity. All ages and types. It's just wonderful.
