I purchased a ford 351 windsor motor stroked out to a 408. When I finally got around to installing the motor I decided to have it checked out by a local engine builder. Good thing I did. The motor was total junk. Poor machine work. Still had an old freeze plug inside the motor. All parts used were cheap Chinese knock offs. The only parts I ended up using were the crank, rods and Pistons. Live and learn.

I bought a 496 and was told i should use a 454 flex plate and that engine was external balanced It had viberation from get go. I called eagle and was told there cranks are internal balanced. I dont think they know what the hell they are doing And know im thinking they probably didnt finish balance engine at all Going to have to tear engine down and see just what the heck i do have My advice stay away Cheap isnt better

Stay away from them. I bought a 500 hp motor - after a extra 3000 well I took it to my local motor butler who's being building motors for over 40 plus years. His spec sheet is a lie. Motor never balanced, no comp cam, no valve job, bore was over by .0500 so tons of piston slap and oil blow by. He said he would set it up to ship it back. entertained it but never called me back. Why would I send back a motor they lied about what they put into it? They won't refund BEWARE

From the start, I bought a Ford 408w stroker.

I pulled the sump off & found sand blasting garnet inside the block, the exhaust header bolt holes where 3 threads deep instead of going all the way into the heads, the manifold was warped & couldn't be used, the oil pump pick up bolt was snapped off, after I had rectified the problems it was running but now at 3000klms the crank has snapped in two. I have a 5000rpm limiter and don't abuse my truck (1990 F150).

I've tried to contact them via email with the prior problems & pretty much got ignored, even just to get the specs for the engine the reply was "we are really busy but will send them to you next week " surprise surprise nothing shows.

PLEASE USE MY BAD EXPERIENCE AS A WARNING

I bought a 'new' motor from them and wound up having it rebuilt with less than one mile on it! it was not balanced,,the rings were not fit (cracked),,the rod bolt was stripped in.. big waste of money and time.



I would avoid these guys like the plague ,, definitely scammers
