        We were vacationing in the Poconos and happened to see an ad for Compton's in the tourist brochures. We ate breakfast there four days in a row. We had eggs Benedict, country fried steak, sausage gravy biscuits, buckwheat pancakes, French toast, medium rare steak with over easy eggs, and silver dollar (mini) pancakes. Everything was excellent and as good or better than we've ever had. The coffee was good. We'd strongly recommend this place to anyone. It's probably among the top five breakfast places we've ever enjoyed.
