Foodfetchers

This company is terrible. I placed and paid for an order at 7:00 p.m. The website said it would take 70 minutes to arrive. The confirmation phone call advised that it would be a two hour wait instead. It took over three hours for our food to arrive. When my husband called to politely inquire about the additional time an individual who identified himself as "John McGowan" stated he was the owner of the company answering phones via VOIP in Des Moines, Iowa and hung up on him. When we called back he was extremely hostile and kept remarking that we had only used the service five times. As if to indicate that you have to order a certain number of times to expect decent customer service. Mr. McGowan also stated that the times on the website “don’t matter”. We have ordered from this service dozens of times prior to this one. When the driver finally arrived over three hours later the order was incorrect and the food was cold. “Mr. McGowan” and FoodFetchers have no regard for their customers and only care about separating them from their dollars upfront and bending them over on the back end. Don't waste your money or your time.

How, in this day and age can a company with such POOR customer service survive??? I sent an e-mail saying that I would be interested in their service for lunch and dinner for 7 people to be delivered to a Downtown Cleveland Location starting next week. Requested a call ASAP. Having not heard back in a reasonable amount of time, I called and told the person that answered that I had sent an e-mail inquiry about their service. He forwarded me to the next person, who was beyond rude. i told him that I had sent an e-mail, and that I did not have a lot of information regarding how they work, and would like more information. He said (and I QUOTE!) "You should have more information before you call me", and he HUNG UP on me. Thanks for nothing.
