Corns
Corns and calluses are hard layers of skin that usually form due to friction. Generally, they will be in areas of the foot that are bearing weight, or areas that frequently rub against the shoe. Soft corns are typically found between the toes.
Calluses
Common heel pain conditions include heel spurs and heel fractures. Morton’s neuroma is a condition that often comes with pain experienced at the ball of the foot, as well as sesamoiditis. Those suffering from discomfort in their arches may have flat feet or plantar fasciitis. Common issues that affect the toes include gout, bunions, blisters, corns and calluses, as well as hammertoe and ingrown toenail. An ankle sprains is also a common ailment that can lead to foot pain.

My appointment with Dr. Lee was one of the best doctor's visits I've ever experienced. I had lived with nail fungus on my large toe on and off for years. It didn't hurt until I couldn't cut the nail because it got too thick. After carefully listening to me, Dr. Lee gave me several alternative courses of action. We decided to have her cut the nail down with clippers that I thought would be painful, but she was very careful and did a great job with no pain. Achilles Tendonitis
There are many different causes of heel pain, including strains or sprains, tarsal tunnel syndrome, stress fractures, Achilles tendonitis, and heel bursitis. One of the most common causes of heel pain for children and teenagers specifically is Sever’s disease. Sever’s disease can develop due to overuse or repetitive microtrauma of the heel bone's growth plates. This condition is often seen among those who are active in sporting activities.
Ankle Sprain
Some sports may be considered more dangerous in terms of foot and ankle injuries compared to others. These sports may include basketball, running, football, soccer, and dancing. Sports that require tightly worn shoes as well as have a particular focus on jumping typically run a higher risk of injury. Because the feet are considered the foundation of the body, help us stay balanced, and enable us to perform our everyday activities, professional help should be sought at the first instinct of something gone wrong.

Flat Feet
Flat feet, or fallen arches, occur when the arch of the foot is lower than normal, potentially causing pain in various parts of the body. These lower arches can develop over time due to age and wear and tear on the feet. Children often have flat feet initially, but most develop a visible arch by around the age of 10. While flat feet may not always exhibit symptoms, they can lead to discomfort or pain in the heel, arch, or leg, and alter the alignment and functioning of the feet and legs during movement. Additional signs of flat feet may include uneven shoe wear, frequent tripping or falling, and stiffness or foot swelling. Conditions like Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, cerebral palsy, and muscular dystrophy can cause flat feet, as can factors such as being male, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, and obesity. Orthotics, exercises, weight management if necessary, and supportive footwear might help this condition. Surgery may be considered in some cases. If you have flat feet and they are causing you pain, it is suggested that you make an appointment with a podiatrist who can examine your feet and provide treatment to manage discomfort.
Hammertoes
Hammertoe is a characterized by one or more of the toes having a bend in the middle joint. This occurs because of weakening of the muscle due to poorly fitted shoes or a genetically inherited trait.
Heel Spurs
A heel spur is a bony protrusion that occurs on the heel. It is often confused with plantar fasciitis, which is inflammation of the plantar fascia ligament. When a heel spur is painful it can make it quite difficult to walk.

Ingrown Toenails
Treatment for an ingrown toenail will vary on a case by case basis. One form of treatment requires lifting the ingrown nail and placing a splint or piece of cotton underneath. Another method for a more severe case would involve partially removing the nail. For cases that need extreme care, the nail itself and tissue would have to be removed.
Plantar Fasciitis
I have seen two physicians in this practice for diagnosis and treatment of plantar fasciitis. I found them both knowledgeable, effective, gave good advice to me. (Lose some weight, you won't have this problem). They injected my heel numerous times prior to this. The office staff are friendly and nice too!
