Stockton Montessori (formal name:Stockton-Stanford Montessori Preschool)

My son attended from the ages 2-6. He left to attend elementary school for 1st grade. I'm constantly amazed at how well rounded his education was through his years at Stockton Montessori. He joined the music program and soccer programs offered as well. He has impressed all of my family and friends. I am so grateful to have had the fantastic staff at Stockton Montessori for my child's early education.

Stockton Montessori School won me over very quickly and allayed all my fears. They have the perfect blend of academics, culture appreciation, and socialization. They foster independence, creativity, and a genuine pride in learning in all of their students. The entire staff is dedicated to guiding each child in discovering and maximizing their strengths while encouraging them to tackle new tasks/learning experiences they may not be familiar with. This staff also provides a very nurturing environment which I was very drawn to and one I had not observed with other schools when I was choosing a school for my daughter, I see the progress my daughter has mad. my Honey and I are amazed! She has become a confident, independent, and respectful little lady who loves to learn. She is excited to come home each day and share all she has learned and accomplished! My daughter attended her first Montessori school in Tracy and the school was not quite what I had researched about Montessori method, After a year of her being upset about school I finally decided to take her for a visit to Stockton's Montessori program and she instantly fell in love. She got right to work doing her "jobs" and Ms. Jodi and Ms. Kris were incredibly warm and welcoming. The building looks like it has seen better days but what is happening inside the building is what counts. Warm and passionate teachers and happy healthy children!

I have 2 kids, ages 4 and 5 that attend Stockton Stanford Montessori Preschool. My kids have been there since the school opened. Before finding this preschool, I searched for months for a place where they would not only "take care" of my kids but would offer a learning environment for my children. The Montessori Program was new to me, I didn't know what to expect from it. It is, thanks to this program and the 30+ years of experience of the directors and teachers that my two younger children are receiving a great, quality preschool education which is helping build a foundation for their future schooling. This school is not a daycare. The Montessori program has taught my kids to be caring, independent, explores, inquirers, and most of all, it promotes a learningn environment in which children learn at their own pace and challenges their learning and interests. The teachers are dedicated, caring, and loving individuals that value who they are and meet each chid's needs. Every day I am amazed of what my children learn at school. At 4 and 5 yrs old, my preschoolers are taught place value, addition, sentence structure, grammar, etc.... My 5 yr old will be attending Kindergarten for the 2013-2014 school year and I'm very thankful for the knowledge he will bring along with him. I highly recommend this Preschool to any parent looking for a quality preschool education.

Standford Montessori School in Stockton is truly an amazing preschool. My son has attended this school for almost a year and has learned so much. This school gives the up most guidance and support to each of thier students learning. The teachers take thier time with each child making sure that all learnings are grasped. My son is only 3 years old and can read, write his name and the entire alphabet with no problem at all. They also support bilingual students, with teachers speaking spanish so that the children can make a smooth transition to english, but without losing thier knowledge of thier own language they speak at home. I can write a novel about how great this school is. I am so glad I chose this school for my son. Wouldn't have it any other way!
