Carter's Pet Mart

We've been here twice both times we went in wanting to buy pet rats. The first time I was a young kid and we got a hairless albino girl dumbo we named Kitten and she was so much fun she passed from what a shocker none other then old age. No health problems and always loved to mother babies that weren't even her own she did quirky things like walk her tail and monkey bar across her cage and she loved peppers of any kind hot or not she was a wonderful girl who loved people and pther pets even my moms old cat. And this next set was different since our pet sore closed to us has just turned into this awful place the rats we got from there passed away young and the other pet store stopped carrying rats so we drove two hours to get our rats. Me and my mum both wanted some and since we live in different houses she was looking for a girl and I was looking for 2 or 3 it didn't matter too much to me what the genders were as long as they were the same and when we arrived we knew where to go because of last time and from there on we had such a wonderful time the staff was very nice and helpful one of the workers there was the one who bred them and helped us he was really nice and they separated boys from girls in the girls there was about 3 and in the boys there was 4 I instantly loved the boys I got 3 boys and my mum got 1 from the same pen since it was so pretty and we got into a conversation with the guy about how it wasn't a "boy" yet and I thought it was a girl so since mom already liked it she took a chance with it and I was right! He was a she But they did acknowledge he could still be a she. Nonetheless from what I hear she is a big ball of love and my three boys are very healthy fat and spoiled they love being held they have 0 health problems and are very clean they have silky fur and keep themselves and each other well groomed. They are just healthy happy little boys and I would travel two hours next time in a heart beat!

Out of all the pet stores in Stockton and even the surrounding area this particular one had a large selection, great customer service and it was so clean and neat. The staff was very helpful and answered all my questions. Apparently they've been around for years. I have just never been to their store. Now that I have been though, I won't go anywhere else for my pet products.
