Ranchero Mexican Restaurant

The staff here is very friendly and the service is very fast. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that is in the mood for Mexican food. The prices are fair too.

I was recently in this establishment and my experience was less than pleasent. The first thing I noticed was, they were under staffed. There were only three workers in the entire restaraunt. The woman serving the bar was also serving all of the tables, as well as cooking. Needless to say her service was far from exceptional. After looking for my server several times I decided I wanted the check. When the check arrived I was charged for items that I did not order. After the check was revised the math did not add up to the previous check. So I decided to just pay it and go. When I got home I checked my account and realized that I was charged $43.33 for a bill that was $36.11. I then returned to the restaraunt and explained they made a mistake and I would like to be refunded. At that point they decided they did not speak english so well or even at all. When I asked for the manager on duty they told me there wasn't one. With evidence of their mistake in my hands they still denied my request for a refund. So I called the the Clayton County Police. When they arrived they could not do anything but make a report of the incident. I was told that I had to dispute the charge with my bank and they should refund my account. In the mean time, Ranchero still has my money and I don't. I believe the waitress decided to add her tip herself ; A tip she did not receive because of her poor service. This is not about the $7.22 , it is the moral of the situation. I was a server myself so I know when to tip. And a tip was not deserved. But I write this to let everyone know that Ranchero Mexican Restaraunt will steal your money!!!!
