Dental Examination
As part of your complete dental examination, our dentists, Dr. Gary Bartholomew and Dr. Alex Bartholomew, will evaluate the teeth and jaw joints to observe for signs of teeth grinding (bruxism), teeth clenching, or difficulties with normal jaw opening and closing.
X-rays
During your exam visit, Dr. Gary Bartholomew or Dr. Alex Bartholomew can examine the health of the teeth and gums both visually and with the support of necessary dental x-rays to fully assess jawbone levels and gum health. With the exam information in hand, your dentist can develop a proposed treatment plan to help you understand the expected costs of your dental implant treatment.
Oral Cancer Screening
Following a complete examination with necessary dental x-rays, oral cancer screening and gum health assessment, your dentist will share his findings and recommendations with you and review options for your care. Our objective is to arrive at a plan to keep your smile healthy that meets your scheduling and budget needs.

Teeth Cleaning

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Oral Surgery
For your comfort during oral surgery, Dr. Gary Bartholomew offers the option of oral conscious dental sedation. Oral conscious sedation is administered by prescribing medications for the patient to take prior to the dental appointment to help them relax during treatment. Learn more about sedation dentistry.
Osseous Surgery
Bone augmentation treatments may be required to increase bone levels or replace bone loss caused by infection, trauma or periodontal (gum) disease. To accomplish this, Dr. Gary Bartholomew may recommend restorative surgical treatments such as sinus lifts, osseous surgery and bone and tissue grafts to stimulate growth of healthy bone around a new dental implant. He may perform the bone augmentation procedure immediately following tooth extraction, or, at the time of the dental implant surgery.
