After reading the other negative reviews about this practice I can say I'm happy about my decision to not return and am inspired to speak up myself. I was referred to this practice after having an abnormal pap result at my family practitioner. They said I needed a follow-up exam and that the doctor I saw would discuss treatment options for HPV since I tested positive for a pre-cancerous strain.



When I showed up for my appointment, Dr. Allen said I didn't need a follow-up exam because I'm under 30 and have not yet had 3 abnormal pap results in a row. I thought that was the point of going- to get another test result for comparison! She discussed no "treatment options" with me beyond saying that my cells looked normal so my body was fighting off the virus a-okay. Then she gave me a brochure about HPV which contains false information. More appalling is that I was still charged a $15 co-pay for this worthless 3-minute conversation. I am recommending to my family practitioner that their office start referring patients elsewhere.

I was really shocked to see all the negative reviews here. I went to LPFW when I was preggers the second time, after having an horrible experience with my other doctors office with my first pregnancy. I wished I had gone to this practice with both of my pregnancies. The office staff is friendly and caring, and the doctors are attentive and give you a lot of information, and give you time to ask a lot of questions. I never felt rushed. I was cared for by all the doctors during my pregnancy, and Dr. Brown was the one who delivered my baby. She was awesome. I highly recommend Loudoun Physicians for Women, and if I decide to have another baby, I will be going there!!

Very unhappy with my experience with Dr Freeman. Once I was finally seen I was rushed in and out and made to feel as if I was lucky that she was taking the time to see me. While waiting to be seen I also overheard a lot of personal information being discussed about other patients. Not good!

Do not go here. I went here for half of my pregnancy and have now made the decision to switch doctors because I cant stand anymore. I decided to go to this practice for OB care as I am on my second pregnancy and this office is signifigantly closer to my job than the OB office I went to for my first pregnancy. HUGE MISTAKE!! Office staff is horendous. I get far better customer service and care of my cat at the veterinarians office. Jane Allen is the absolute worst. She is as cold as ice and will never remember who you are or any specifics of your conditions or the babys during your pregnancy. After reading the previous review I am beyond thankful that I am switching providers even if it will be a slight inconvenience, its well worth it!!! Was hung up on when I called and cancelled my last appointment, they did not even bother to ask me why I wouldnt be returning or show concern that I was switching providers in the middle of my pregnancy. Receptionist stated "Well we charge $25 to transfer medical records" I said no thats ok and she hung up on me!! If you value being treated like a human being by your OBGYN and their office staff then do not patronize this practice! All they care about is the business aspect and herding as many patients through as they can. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! Cant say enough...

I'll be finding a different practice to deliver my child. After one appointment with Dr. Brown, I decided to look elsewhere rather than risk her being the one delivering my baby. She was rough, rude, and condescending.

Please ladies, don't use Dr. Jane Allen ever, if you care for your health at all. I had an emergency c-section by her uncaring hands. She tore my urethra where I lost a lot of blood. To stop the blood flow during surgery, she stuffed my lady part with surgical guaze and forgot to remove it! Two weeks later, I was coming down with 103.6 level fevers, chills and bodyaches and not knowing why. Her office said I was probably just exerting myself too much and dismissed it when I called. She hadn't even asked me to come in for a follow-up. Thankfully, I went to my urologist for a follow-up to make sure my urethra stitches were healing. My urologist found the stinky piece of guaze stuck in there for two weeks that was causing bladder and kidney infections. As I write this, I'm back in the hospital, being treated for this infection that was caused due to Dr. Allen's negligence. PLEASE don't use her. If you need more information, contact me.
