MHM Corrections is one of the leading national specialists in providing mental health care programs and services to correctional systems, including state and local prisons and jails. The company serves more than 164 correctional facilities with a total population of more than 190,000 inmates. MHM Corrections is the statewide provider of mental health services in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Pennsylvania and Maryland. The company also provides mental health services to the Dekalb County Jail in Atlanta, Salt Lake County Jail in Salt Lake City and Philadelphia Prison System. MHM Corrections also provides staffing services to correctional facilities in Florida through a contract with the Florida Department of Corrections. In addition, 18 institutions in the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction contract with MHM for specialized mental health staff, as does the Illinois Department of Corrections, to provide evaluations pursuant to the Sexually Violent Persons Commitment Act and to provide sex offender evaluations prior to an inmate s release from custody.
