Taiyo Japanese Restaurant

sushi is one of my favorite foods and I'm always looking for a good sushi restaurant in my neighborhood. I recently found Taiyo and was a little iffy about it cuz the place looked very hole in the wall. when i walked in, the first impression was awesome cuz the waitress was very welcoming. I sat down and ordered a few things. I'm into sashimi so i got tuna, yellow tail, and albacore. fish was fresh! they even complimented me a miso soup, salad, edamame, AND some side dishes i've never seen before! (which was good stuff, not weird stuff). I was full and happy! At the end of the meal, my bill was pretty low too! i'm not gonna lie and say this was the best japanese restaurant in the world, but this is up there with one my favorites.

I surprised my girlfriend by taking her to a sushi restaurant. I was recommened to this spot by a friend of mine. Anyways, I am not a big sushi fan, however my girl loves it. The server was very kind and I ordered chicken. My girl got rolls, and the server hooked us up with salad. During these times, any kind of hook up is great! I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking to eat sushi. I will be back soon Taiyo!
