Merchant's Tire and Auto Service Center

This store fixed my car in May of 2016 after I got it back from a theft. I asked them to do a bumper to bumper check, fix anything that was wrong. Check everything and let me know what needed to get fixed. They came back with tires and rear breaks. Said fine, fix it. Three weeks later the breaks started squeaking. I know new breaks sometimes make noise but I called to check. They had me bring it in-this time it was the front breaks-all the way down to the rotors. I was close to destroying the breaks. I asked why they didn't catch this a few weeks ago and they gave some explanation that seemed like tap dancing. Okay, fix it. My husband got involved. They suddenly took off money etc. He said get the oil changed too. Okay, we will. They said they would do the oil change for free. Everything was done, we walked out. At this point we had spent close to $1700 at Merchant in about 5 weeks. Push forward 6 months, my car is making a sound. I bring it in to another mechanic and they asked when the last time I had the oil changed was-I said June. I have the information but it doesn't show so I call Merchant to inquire. They deny all of it. When I asked, since I had the car in on a regular basis why didn't they offer oil changes, they said it wasn't their policy to offer oil changes. It was the responsibility of the owner to ask. When we indicated we did ask, they said we had no proof. Outside of a videotape of us asking, what type of proof could we offer that we asked and it was not done even though we were told it was done. As a result I am facing $5000 in repairs on my car. I have proof of other oil changed, new tires, brakes, batteries, etc that I can show. I took care of the car but because Merchant neglected to do this last oil change and they are neglecting to own up to their mistake I am out thousands of dollars. The DM and the store manager couldn't even manage a decent apology because they fear it would make it look like they were taking responsibility for a mistake.

No stars here! Had my car in for an air conditioner problem 4 times and still not fixed. Not only is it not fixed, they caused a problem with my windows! Boo Hiss! They should be ashamed of themselves!

my wife and friend went to get 2 tires replaced. they kept getting hit on by the employees. then they ended putting the tire on wrong. even tho the side wall has "this side faceing out" on it.
