I recommend this shop to all I know with European vehicles. They are very knowledgeable, professional and focus on customer satisfaction. On several occasions I thought I had mechanical problems snd they fixed the issues with a re-flash of firmware.

I could not be happier with the service. All the staff I have come across have been polite, professional, and skilled at their chosen profession.

I highly recommend the crew at German Auto Repair. I was referred by a friend when I moved and needed some service. I recently brought in my '99 Mercedes CLK in for an oil change which was done quickly and much cheaper than my old service place, will be back.

It is so hard to find an honest and reliable used auto repair facility these days. This place is one of the few remaining honest service centers!

The guys are German Auto did a splendid job of explaining to me the nature of the damage that was done to my car as well as the tasks involved in restoring my car. I was pleased with the results of the work performed on my Porsche in addition to the professionalism shown by the receptionist, mechanics, technicians and Sammy.

Last week, I visited German Auto Group totally by chance. I had seen its ad, was intrigued and decided to stop. The reception was just fabulous; everyone in the office was the most courteous and helpful. I did not hesitate to get my 330 serviced there. I had the most complete experience in automotive service, since Munich, Germany. I met the chief mechanic for BMW, CJ. What a superb and thoroughal individual! His "inspection" identified a major problem with my tires, a problem which could have been catastrophic.

I just moved to virginia and dont have my tools or a shop to work on my GTI here. My car was leeking coolant so i needed a water pump and figured get a new timing belt as well since its the same labor.. this place has the best prices around too..They were very professional and had the car done in a day! good business from the outside and what seemed like the inside too.while driving the car the next day the car kinda putted slightly( the ecu trying to reajust to bad gas) and the engine light came on... went to get gas and my gas cap was gone. unfortunatelly they put 10 dollers of gas and put regular not premium and forgot/lost the gas cap..The leak is still there also so im very concerned.. so i called the mechanic and he was Very Understanding... he agreed to do a vagcom check and replace the cap free of charge, and check out the leak... very buiseness oriented, im going in tomorrow and if all goes well i will be a repeat customer and give them 5 stars because this is a mistake any mechanic can make.. im hoping the coolant leak is a easy fix ..im just hopeful it will be resolved tomorrow, have a mercedes that needs work that will be here after xmas if they come through as well

Great place & price. I took my 05 BMW for alternator problem. I had a quote from BMW dealer and this place was much cheaper for the same work. They replaced the alternator, battery and expansion tank for much much lower then dealer. The work was excellent and everyone was a pleasant to deal with.

I found this place by chance but have become a regular customer with both my VW and my BMW. Very satisfied with the service: they have often been able to take my car without an appointment; they provide a rental if necessary; writers are knowledgeable; always keep me informed of progress, diagnoses, arrival of ordered parts, and any new problems that appear; explain the work clearly and concisely; tell me if I don't need something that I thought I needed; finish fast; charge reasonably; wash the car at the end. What more could one want or expect?

I sent my car to German Automotive Group to have my radiator changed in my saab 95. After a month of getting it back I found another problem in my car and decided to take it to another shop Autoskandia. Although their pricing is high they do excellent work. When I got the report back they informed me that the bracket for the radiator was installed incorrectly and that they used the wrong coolant. Upset about this I took the car back to German Automotive Group, they told me their coolant is the correct one and wiggled a few cables around to apparently put the radiator back in place (this was all done in a matter of minutes) He offered me the option to have my radiator flushed i gladly accepted. When i picked up my car after the apparent flush my coolant was dangerously low and the cap for my fluid container had been sealed shut using a wrench. Unable to remove the cap with only my hand (which is how it should be) I had to take the car to a gas station to borrow a wrench to remove the cap and also had to buy my own coolant fluid to fill it up. It was almost as if they tightened the cap so tight as to get payback for bringing my car back after a bad review from another shop. NEVER AGAIN WILL THEY WORK ON MY CAR OR ANYONE I KNOWS VEHICLE!
