Robert Saks Oregon's Mattress

I purchased a memory foam mattress from this crook. When my husband and I arrived, it was kind of late and we knew exactly what we were looking for. We simply wanted to get a price on what they had in stock. Mr. Saks actually locked the door behind us so we could not get out of the building and then berated us when we told him we were simply looking for pricing. He went on and on about how we were wasting his time and he didn't have time for this but he would not unlock the door. We finally gave in and bought a much more expensive mattress and it was not even what we were wanting.



After less than one year with the mattress, it is a complete piece of trash. I still had my receipt and called the business as he had "assured" us that he would handle any warranty work needed. This is when the real problem began. He told me he doesn't even carry this mattress and accused me of forging the receipt. When I took the receipt to the store in person, he insisted he never spoke with me on the phone. He then said he will call the company and get the warranty underway. 2 months later, I called to find out where the heck the replacement was. He again went into the "I have never spoken with you before and I don't even carry that mattress".



A little over 3 months after starting the warranty process, I get a call and was informed my replacement mattress was there and I would need to bring the old one back to the store. He also told me to make sure I brought someone to help me unload the old mattress and take it into the store room and load the new one.



Once I arrived with the old mattress, the one that has spent it's entire life in a waterproof protective, 100% encompassing cover, Mr. Saks tells me that he, under no circumstances, will accept the old mattress back and then went on to tell me that he did not know I or whomever I share the bed with had a problem with bladder control! I was totally shocked. I looked at the mattress and there is not a single spot or blemish on it but here is this man telling me I wet the bed!



He then went on to berate me again as he now has a mattress he ordered as a warranty replacement and he is going to be stuck with it.
