I took my daughter in for back pain. I explained that I thought there may be abuse coming from my ex-wife. The doctor (who immediately didn't believe me and didn't want to be involved) brushed us off. I had to basically BEG for a Urinalysis. She begrudgingly agreed. Turns out she had a horrible kidney infection... Daughter is fine thanks to dad, not doctor.

Considering the bad attitude,lack of dignity,complete lack of empathy or any hint of caring or compassion for patients in the ER who are either hurt,sick,or both that a patient most of the times get from the ER nurses(such as me being ridiculed for a fear of needles in the ER by a nurse named Lauren-which she did twice and both times were in front of other Hospital ER Staff). I would tell anyone who would listen to go to Miami Valley Medical Center. I hear they have top notch people working there.

Don't go to this emergency room.....just had surgery 6 weeks before...had pain in my stomach and the dr would only give me baby asprin. He accused me of being an addict.
