All About Smiles Lc

The dentist at—All About Smiles—was horrible to say the least. I went in with a fractured upper left molar that I knew was pretty badly decayed. I could not afford a root canal and crown which would have been the best thing to do, so I decided to get it extracted if it was too far gone to fill. The dentists spent a grand total of 20 seconds looking at the tooth and my x-ray before make the decision to extract it rather than fill it. This dentist rushed through the extraction and it was over in another 30 seconds after the local anesthetic took effect. Luckily, the tooth came out clean. This extraction is not why I am writing this review though.
The manner in which I was treated by the dentist is my major complaint. The dentist said nothing to me after the extraction and hardly 4 words before. He was rude, extremely rushed and dismissed both of my other concerns out of hand. I suspect that I have periodontal disease because my front bottom teeth are getting loose and my gums bleed each time I brush my teeth. When I told this to the dentist, he simply dismissed the tough and said that my front teeth would last 10 more years. However, when he said this I nearly got up and ran out of his office: (approximation)We will wait until they drop out and get you bridge.
In short, this dentist made me feel like he could give a rat’s behind about my dental health and would only do the absolute bare minimum for Medicaid patients. I was rushed in, he yanked out the tooth, and I was rushed out.

I took my kids here not once but twice! I was t happy the first time but they are one of the only Medicaid providers. The first time they put sealants on my children's teeth and they came off before we got home! I called and they promptly blamed it on my kids licking or picking at them! My kids are 12 & 16! The second time they insists on doing x-rays and jammed bite wings into my child's mouth hard enough to actually leave cuts! The dentist him self and some of the staff seem super nice, but some of the dental assistants are rude and mean! I won't be taking my kids back there!

Wow. What can I say? I love this place. I have been taking my children here for years and Dr. Dye has always been great. He is very caring and genuinely likes people. I have never seen him be rude, nor his staff, (even to the know-it-all dental hygienists students getting work done as is more than obvious in the other posts). He recently done work for me going above and beyond to make sure it was ABSOLUTELY PAINLESS quick and efficient. His staff a very polite and professional, as well as very skilled in their respective jobs. My children LOVE him. I cannot say enough good things about him. Questions about his work? Call me 417-315-3109. He fixed my front teeth where they were chipped and I can smile again. He is "All about the smiles".

Based on my own personal experiences I would definitely advise anyone to avoid going to All About Smiles! They did a horrible job on my fillings. Here I am a couple of months later and I had to get them replaced by a different dentist (i started going to a different dentist after my horrible experience at All About Smiles). I was in excruciating pain after the numbing medicine went away and they put the filling over the tooth decay on my teeth so getting them filled there was a disaster. You are supposed to remove ALL tooth decay before filling a tooth. One of the teeth they worked on got infected afterwards and my new dentist performed a root canal on it to save it. I'm truly worried about anyone who chooses to go to this place.

This is a great office. We would highly recommend it especially for children. Staff is

friendly and office is nice.
