I went to 4 different Hyundai dealerships before I finally ran into Jay Yabour at North Freeway Hyundai. I must have bought 30 cars over my lifetime and I've never dealt with anyone as personable and friendly as Jay. He found what I wanted, didn't play games and had me out of there in 45 minutes. The entire staff at North Freeway treated me like family and I love my new Santa Fe. Thanks

We did not have a good experience at this dealership. Please note that the prices advertised on their website are ONLY available IF you go with Hyundai financing, and if you do, you get a $1,000 rebate. The Hyundai financing is a terrible agreement (high % with balloon payment), so you'll have to transfer the loan soon after (a hassle). Furthermore, their fees are HIGH. Others have noted this. They will throw in a $299 consumer advertising fee (that other dealerships in town do NOT charge); a $51.70 inventory fee (again, not charged by other dealerships in town); and a $200 document fee (that is fairly standard, but usually the only fee you see). They do not explain this upfront. You will find out in the financing office. You may not be able to negotiate out of these. Furthermore, in our case, they added a $1,495 extended warranty without discussing it with us, and we did not see it until we were in the financing office. When we cancelled several days later, they "lost" our cancellation. They will also pester you about getting a "10" on the follow-up survey, including using pretty heavy guilt ploys. They do not, however, actually give a 10 in service. Please be wary of this dealership: 1) Avoid financing with them unless absolutely necessary; 2) be sure to read everything; 3) be sure to discuss FEES and EXTENDED WARRANTIES upfront. Compare apples to apples! You may get as good as or a better deal somewhere else when you account for the fees and the hassle of transferring the loan!

Buyers beware of Hundai Sonata's. This is not about the people work here, but the product itself. Lot of complaints being reported on

If you purchased a vehicle and have serious problems complain in the above link.
If you face any problems you can contact BBB.org

Stay away from this place. Shady business tactics.
They try to slide in hundreds of dollars in "document" and other fees at the end. Literally they print out all the documents and try to skip over all the fees. I refused to pay and was a real hassle but finally had them mostly removed.
The sales rep was nice and did a good job. However, I had a problem on the car that I discovered when we got home. We bought the car during the day so didn't see that the tail lights weren't working. called the next day and was told that the car was sold as is. Too bad.
Real nice way to treat your customers. I tried calling a couple more times but wasn't getting anywhere. Decided to cut my losses and pay the $300 to get it fixed.
No reason to go to a dealer you can't trust and treats its customers so badly. I am sure they could have fixed this for a few dollars but they certainly lost all of my future business and likely many others now. Poor way to run a business.

I recently bought a car from North Freeway Hyundai, and from what I can gather, I was introduced to the manager as I was leaving as part of their standard process. He gave me his card with his cell and home number and asked that I call if I ever have any issues, which was nice. He also asked that I write a single review on any site of my choice. Now this was new...and I was curious as to why he would ask that, so I went on line and read a few, and then it hit me. The only people that write reviews are haters who think they are 7 foot tall and bulletproof. I really like the fool who claimed they tried to break his leg. I suspect the reason they asked for my review was to offset the nincompoops out there. Of course the real person to blame for this is Yellow Pages because they host this slander.....so here is my review. I found the Genesis I wanted on line. I called Jeff Bogle, the Internet sales rep who had responded to my replies, and we set the whole thing up over the phone, and he didn't threaten to break my leg! I was in an out in less than two hours, and most of that was because my wife switched colors once we got there... and still nobody threatened to break her legs either. I would give the whole process a 9.5 out of 10 and thats because I had to go back to get my windows tinted, but they loaned me a car for the day so I really can't complain. I can recommend the dealership, Jeff Bogle, the tint guy, and the Genesis. Overall, a very nice, non-injurious experience!

My daughter, who is 19 years old, went off to buy a car with the understanding that I would co-sign for her. She found a used Hyundai Sonata she wanted at North Freeway Hyundai, and when they ran her credit, it was determined that she didn't need a co-signer. She decided to go ahead with the deal and when she got into the business office, the finance manager interviewed her and found out she had decided to go ahead without me. After getting her permission, the finance manager called me and in about 15 minutes, we found out that if I did co-sign, I could save her almost 2 points of interest. In my opinion, the finance manager, Mr. Ray Funk, went out of hiw way to help my daughter and I owe Mr. Funk a big thank you. THANKS! We will be back.

These people will give you every reason NOT to do warranty work on your car. Either they are too busy or the parts are not available. The lady that does the service writing is incompetent. The service manager is rude and acts like he's doing you a favor to keep you informed. Do yourself a favor and drive right by this dealership!! BEWARE!

I tried to deal in good faith with this seemingly average dealership. What resulted was a high-pressure attempt at humiliation by a pompous sleaze and charged a lot of $$$$$ for nothing. I DO NOT recommend this dealership as there are far better in the area.
