Discount Tire

Exceptional customer service! Went in with a tire that has had a slow leak. Right from the time I walked through the front door to the moment I left, I experienced great customer service! The bays were filled & a few customers ahead of me, so I anticipated there would be a wait! I was told the expected wait would be 1 hr & 15 min. They were right on the estimated time. That was fine with me. I was also offered a coffee. They found a screw in the tire & a leak in the valve stem. I was handed my keys with a Discount Tire brochure. No Charge! I got my tire fixed, & all tires were inspected air check for free! Ian Duarte, your team rocks! THANKS AGAIN!

Was told by Discount Tire that the tires on my car had "defeat" stems that defeated the TPMS system and required me to purchase TPMS rebuilds for each tire at $8.00 per tire. This was not true. The car had nitrogen filled tires with green stems to indicate nitrogen.

Was told I needed to get the "certificate for repair/replacement" in case of catastrophic destruction of tires. The salesman told me repeatedly how much I needed this, and gave me a discount (1 tire free). I foolishly gave in for another extra $36.

Sorry, I'd rather go somewhere where I am not lied to about the tire stems and told I need things I do not. I did not appreciate the high pressure sales tactics and deception to get me to spend an extra $68 for nothing.



8-7-2012 I filled out the online survey from Discount Tire and was called by James, the manager. He apologized for the misunderstanding and told me he would refund both the full cost for the TPMS replacement kits and the extended tire warranties, which he did. When I went to Discount Tire to get the refund, there were no questions - simply a refund of what I felt I had overpaid.

I appreciate this business doing what is right, and in spite of my initial experience with what may have been an over achieving salesman, it seems that Discount Tire as a business cares about its customers and tries to do what is right. For this reason I would recommend them - in fact, the reviews of their integrity are what led me originally to purchase tires from them.

Found this tire store by way of a friend. The salesmen were very helpful with the selection of my tires. The installation only took about 20 min. The only service they need is the alignment of those tires. Very good job of taking care my tire needs.
