Hired Steve to clear property, bring in fill dirt to prep for slab, and put millings down for a driveway/pad in front of our barn. Paid him about $7500 between all 3 jobs. He was pleasant to work with and quick to reply to a text or phone all on three jobs. He cost a little more than a few other quotes we had gotten, but we thought he seemed like a "stand by your work" type of person so we went with him for the jobs. Boy were we wrong, 8 months later, we are having an issue with water running into our barn in one area when it rains hard. The millings look a little high in that area, looks like if we could grade or scrape them down a bit, it would fix the issue. We've texted, called and left messages. Can't even get a response back! We just simply want suggestions on how to fix the issue, and, of course, would be willing to pay him for his time. It is very disheartening to be completely ignored after giving someone so much work. I am not in the habit of writing reviews for anything, really. Just thought I'd share our experience so others are aware.
