They might be OK for an oil change or brake job, but after my experience with them, I'd never take them anything more complicated. I took my car to Ben's to have them estimate & repair an air conditioning problem. A couple of hours later, I received a phone call with a price of ~$770. It sounded high for the issue, but I approved it. Later that day, I got another phone call: the parts they ordered were wrong, so they had to go to OEM parts. That, of course, raised the price by another ~$70. And added a day, since we had to wait for parts to be shipped in. ... On the morning of day 2, I got another phone call, explaining that there was another bad part, this time raising the price by ~$300 (that part is ~$70 online). I told them to stop work and put the dashboard back together, rather than pay even more. In the end, they wouldn't budge on price and charged me over $850 for 2 actuators (aftermarket were $25 online) and a freon recharge.

What's Money Worth?

Don't know why the few good ratings because they left me with a nightmare! Needed A/C and Alternator work (plus change-out some of the old parts for new ones that I had), and received a bill that even a millionaire would have complained about! Instructed them to take their time, but I didn't know that I would be charged for that time as well? I believe they used my car as an on-the-job-training tool, that I paid for! Extremely disappointed (they never did this to me before), and my car still isn't fixed (wired), properly! Unless you have a bottomless wallet and a place to bring you car afterwords, don't go there! Wish I had the advice I'm giving you!

TRUST ME PLEASE. My wife and I took her newer MDX car to accurate automotive on 10/4/13 for a routine oil change around 8:30am. We get a call from them at 9:05am saying that they had difficulty getting to the oil pan, but when they did the bolt came out stripped. Said that they would fix it and they called me around 9:45am saying to come pick up it was fixed. We get there and receive a bill for $127.00 for the oil change. I paid, but told him I did not agree with the business practice. He actually responded by saying I'm lucky he didnt fix it b/c he charges $80.00 per hour and the kids in the pit, who took the bolt out in the first place charge less. The real slap in the face happened when we got home b/c the oil was leaking from the bolt that they allegedly broke and charged me to fix. Now we spend more money to get this fixed by a reputable mechanic. Really unbelievable that people can do business this way.

This is the only place I will ...

This is the only place I will take my car; they are honest mechanics and do a good job.

Best mechanics in town

They gave me a free estamite, gave me a ride home, picked me up when my car was finished, completed the work in the time they said they would! I would recommend Accurate Automotive to all my friends!
