Subway

For years I have been eating Subway sandwiches and thoroughly enjoyed ordering my favorite, my way. A small tuna on honey oat bread with all the fixings I like. Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas, all were delighted to make my sandwich without any problems until, I ordered it at the WalMart Bulverde/Spring Branch location. I was told they would only make it on French white or wheat bread. Not what I like. I left that location and went to the other location and got what I wanted. Next day I wrote a complaint on line and recieved an email from the owner, Sarah Hilbig. She was not at all concerned about my problem but to my surprise, complained about the other Subway serving me what I asked for. That is when I learned she owns both locations and proceeds to tell me she would reprimand them. And so she did, as a week later when I went to the other location for my sandwich, they too refused to put it on honey oat bread. I had to drive to New Braunfels to get my sandwich. I contacted the corporate office who couldn't believe Sarah Hilbig wouldn't serve me the honey oat bread. They said they had a policy of not serving tuna as a small sandwich but no policy regarding the type of bread. They also said that the owner has the ability to make exceptions but couldn't understand why honey oat was a problem. So, I am now forced to drive a long distance to get the sandwich I want from Subway owners who value their customers requests. Oh and one more thing. The logo for Subway along with this statement is written across the back of the workers shirts "MAKE IT WHAT YOU WANT:" That is unless the store is owned by Sarah Hilbig.
