Daisy Hoffert is a Northern Nevada native who received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Nevada at Reno and completed her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at Touro University, Nevada. She has practiced as a physician assistant for 12+ years and is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Daisy has specialized in Medical / Surgical Dermatology for five years and also brings a vast array of experience from her years working in multiple fields including; Emergency Medicine, Pain Management, Hospitalist Medicine, Department of Corrections and as part of a team at the US McMurdo station in Antarctica. She trained under a Mohs surgeon for several years with a focus on moderate to complex surgical repairs. Daisy prides herself on being an advocate for her patients with a focus on navigating the complex and ever-changing healthcare system. She is dedicated to educating her patients and encourages them to be an active participate in their care. She works to provide appropriate and effective treatments while maintaining her patient’s quality of life. She volunteers for skin cancer screening with the Carson Tahoe Hospital Cancer Center. She is an avid world traveler and loves spending her time outdoors hiking, cycling, camping, golfing, and spending time with family.
