Jump For Fun

The most wonderful experience from start to finish! Need a hassle free birthday party? This is the place to do it. My 6 year old son wanted a birthday party with his friends at a jumping place and after reading the previous reviews, I was hesitant but I'm stubborn and wanted my own experience. Best decision ever! The staff was not just amazing but knowledgeable! I booked my party and paid the deposit. A week before the party, I noticed they will print invites for free and wanting to save money and time, I asked for them. Even on a time crunch, they got them done and they were great! Then, as luck would have it, my son caught the flu. I called Jump for Fun, sobbing, knowing I would have to pay for the party we couldn't have. I read the rules and I knew I needed to give at least 2 weeks notice. This is 3 days prior to the party. The manager, Faith, was so sweet and professional, even though they don't normally allow for it, she let me reschedule my party for another date without charging me a second deposit. She didn't have to do that, but she did. It was so incredibly kind. Then, the day of the party was easy! There were over 10 different well maintained, clean, jumping houses and activities to do. I was even able to jump a bit too! The facility in general was very clean, and there are multiple hand sanitize dispensers around. My party planner was attentive, fun, friendly and efficient! She rounded up the kids like it was nothing and Let them RUN to the party room which they loved. The room was very comfortable and nice. I would bring my own decorations next time only because the decorations are not themed as it says on the website. She not only set up the room, but wrote down all the gifts and who they were from, served all the guests, and constantly catered to each and every one of us, children and parents alike. She packed us all up, walked us out the car and put everything in the trunk. My party planners name was McKenna. I have four words to describe Jump for Fun...World Class Customer Service! Although its a little pricy compared to a do-it-yourself party, it was worth the money for the convenience, and atmosphere. Thank you so much, Ms. Faith, and McKenna. You are the epitome of kindness, and definitely know how to nurture the human spirit.

This is such a cool place! I've taken my daughter there for a few of the open jumps and she never wants to leave. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I spoke with a manager about booking a party and she answered every single question I had. I booked the party and we had an amazing time. The pricing to me seemed very resonable and party was worth every penny. You place your order and just show up to enjoy the party. They greeted my guests, set up party room, passed out food and drink, and the best part of all....they cleaned it all up afterwards. I really hope my daughter wants to come back next you because I sure do!

FALSE PRICE ADVERTISING::: While the facility is nice and the employees are friendly, you need to watch you bill at check-out. When you schedule your party at JUMP FOR FUN in SOUTHLAKE, make sure you read over your contract and all the fine print. I scheduled a "Weekday Party Special" on-line for a Monday, confirmed on-line the price of $229 for up to 20 kids. And a "Jumper's Club" discount of $20 would be taken off my bill at check-out on the day of the party. Therefore, the party would have been $209 plus any food or drinks we purchased. I was charged $249!! A $40 price difference is quite a bit! The reason I was given for the higher party price was that "Monday" was not considered a weekday! Okay, but when you go on-line and click the button for "Weekday Party Prices", you are quoted $229, and then you confirm the party and make a downpayment for the $229 party, I consider this FALSE ADVERTISEMENT OF PRICES. No where on the pages I used to schedule my party was there a note that Monday is not considered a weekday.



After numerous phone calls to the manager, Faith, and un-returned e-mails to the owner, I can not believe that 2 months later I am still dealing with such a petty thing. JUMP FOR FUN SOUTHLAKE does not believe that "the customer is always right". Also, we ended up having 14 kids versus 20 kids, SO our party price based on the number of kids, should have been $229. The reason given to me for not adjusting the price NOW, is that according to the manager, Faith, "JUMP FOR FUN CAN ADJUST PARTY PRICES UPWARDS, BUT NOT DOWNWARDS".



I will be looking at Urban Air as my new fun spot for parties!!

Be prepared to pay a lot of $$$ and talked to like you're worthless! I recently had my son's birthday party here. I booked the party online. I received a phone call 2 days before the party to confirm everything. At this point I was told that I could not bring in any outside food or drink besides the cake. I take complete responsibility for not reading the fine print of the contract because that is written in there somewhere but I was unaware until this point. I said I would call back after I looked at their food choices to make my selections. A case of capri suns there is $7.50 ($2 at grocery) and a case of waters is $12 ($2.50 at grocery). I was expecting 25 kids plus their parents and I am not a party host who makes my guests pay for their own food or drink so I was looking at spending $30 just on drinks on top of any food I bought plus the $220 to have the party there. A little upset, I called back to see why prices on drinks were so high. Unfortunately, I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, Jeff. Excerpts from the conversation include: Cowboys Stadium gouges their prices, why can't they; if I knew anything about running a business, I would know that you have to charge higher prices on some things; couldn't believe I was calling about such a petty thing like a couple of dollars. We ended the conversation with "Fine, just bring in your own drinks!" I received another call about an hour later from Jeff to confirm my son's birthday party. When I said "yes, we're still a go with permission to bring in my own drinks", he replied with "yes, I see that on here'. A little confused because I knew I was talking to the same guy, I asked, "aren't you the one I talked to about that?" His reply, "I don't remember, I've talked to a lot of people today". When we arrived at the party I brought in a cooler with my drinks, water and capri suns. While you jump, a party host sets the room up with all of your stuff. When it was time to go into the party room, all the capri suns were set up for the kids. I looked for my cooler to no avail. When I asked the party host where it was, I was told it had been confiscated and taken up front because it had water in it and Jeff had only approved me for juice. I'm sorry, but are you freaking kidding me! They had hid my cooler! All is well, I have my cooler back and the most important part is that my son had a great time, unaware of the behind the scenes proceedings. There are very nice employees there and it is a clean place but after the way I was talked to, I will never go back, especially with Urban Air Trampoline and Jump Zone on the same street. And if you do happen to use Jump For Fun for your party, better not be late, because if you're even 5 minutes late leaving the party room, you will be charged a late fee.
