        As a native of North Texas, Dr. Cody Mihills graduated L.D. Bell High School and went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology, magna cum laude, from Texas A&M University in College Station. He attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and did his residency with The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at McLennan County Medical Education and Research Foundation in Waco. Dr. Mihills was named chief resident for his final year there. Dr. Mihills is a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine and holds current licensure in Texas and Louisiana. His medical interests include preventative care, chronic disease management, office procedures, and clinical trials. Dr. Mihills deeply believes in giving back to the community and the world. Locally, he has served as a volunteer physician for Carroll Independent School District’s Medical Academy since 2004. Globally, he has been on seven medical mission trips to help the needy in Nicaragua, Kenya and Peru. Dr. Mihills and his wife Cayce enjoy spending time with their growing family, travel, and community involvement. Dr. Mihills looks forward to enriching the lives of his patients with health and wellbeing.

        Dr Mihills is exceptional, he is proactive in test. Because of this he saved my life. Saw a problem and moved quickly to confirm his diagnosis. A triple bypass later and I’m doing great!

        Dr. Mihills has always been attentive and direct when dealing with my care. As a two time cancer survivor that leans towards alternative/functional therapies, it's often difficult to find Dr.s willing to lend a non-judgemental ear to my unique treatment choices. He's a true gem!

        Extraordinary personal attention to my overall health

        Cody always invests the proper amount of time needed to ensure that he has thoroughly discussed and explained everything I need to know and understand, so that I will be able to continue on my pathway of good health. If I have any questions or concerns, he will walk through a series of questions and discussion so he can properly determine any tests needed to diagnose and provide the treatment needed to eliminate the concern or to prescribe the treatment needed to maintain and/improve my overall health.

        I am richly blessed to have Cody as my personal physician and thank God for his passion and heart in ministering to his patients in the very special way that he does each and every day.
