I purchased furniture from Anderson's in January 2015. I was told my furniture would be delivered late February. In February, I was told mid March, then late March, then mid April and now late April. I will never be buying from Anderson's again. Yes, the furniture is beautiful and yes it is high quality, but I don't know how they stay in business making empty promises. They have over $15,000 of my money with nothing to show for it for almost 4 months. I would have never purchased from them if I had seen the reviews. Stay away if you are considering them!

I orderered my furniture in January 2015, and I was told my furniture would be in around the end of February. I was then told middle of March, then end of March, then mid April, then April 27. It's now April 27, 2015, and I still do not have my furniture, and they have no idea when it will be here. They keep saying they can't control when the vendor ships. I will NEVER buy from Anderson's again. They've had well over $15,000 of my money since January, and I have nothing to show for it. Go anywhere else but here. I had planned to buy a lot more from them, but I've learned my lesson.

The best place for quality furniture!! I have bought a couch and bed from there and couldn't be happier. They gave me a great price on both the items I purchased. I highly recommend this place and the staff are super nice.

We have also had a bad experience with Anderson's Furniture in Southlake. We too love everything they have in the store and didn't mind paying a higher price for better quality. Problem is...we can't get all our furniture and they told us if we ordered and waited we would have it all in 30 days. That was December and now April, we still don't have all our furniture...it is sitting on a boat in China and after reading these reviews, I will be so disappointed if I have to wait 7 months for a dresser. And, they do have their money and have not tried to make any kind of peace offering to us to allow to continue to be patient. We are very disappointed in customer service!

Although I am at the point where I don't even care anymore, I just feel I need to let you're company know how disappointed I am with the service you provide. First, I love Anderson's furniture store and had every plan to fill my almost 4000 square foot home with Anderson's furniture and drapes. The reason I don't feel that way anymore is because a little over a month ago I purchased a King size bed from the Southlake store. From the very beginning things weren't going well. I was given misinformation right from the start. On one hand I was told if I financed the bed it wouldn't be ordered until I paid in full and then next told that wasn't true and that it would be ordered if financed, which was true, but not if we did 90 day same as cash. So after all the confusion I left the store thinking I was clear on everything. Two weeks went by and I decided to call the store to see if I could get a date on when my bed would be in and ready for delivery. Well, over the past 4 weeks I called twice and the first time the salesperson couldn't give me a definite answer on when it would be in and the second time the store manager informed me the bed was in. I wondered just how long the bed would be in the store before they decided to call me. So, the manager told me the bed would be delivered on that next Thursday and that I would get a call. I did indeed get a call and my bed was finally delivered; I was so excited!



Well, the delivery guys gave me attitude for me asking them to respect my home and put shoe covers over their feet because I have a no shoe policy in my house. After defiantly doing what I asked of them they put the bed together quickly, not even offering to place my mattress and box springs on the frame, and then left. Since, the mattress was too heavy for me I decided to wait until my husband came home to put them on the frame. When he did, come to find out they didn't fit and unbeknownst to us we were given the wrong sized be which turns out to be a California King bed. I thought it was my mattress at first, so we contacted the mattress store and they assured us we had a California King frame since our box springs were too short and too wide for the frame. Sure enough, we looked up the measurements for this model bed on the manufacturers website and compared those measurements to the bed that was delivered to us and we definitely have a California King bed frame. Since, it was after hours I decided to try and fix things this morning. So, before I called customer service I decided to call a nearby competing store that I almost purchased the bed from first and just doubled check to see if they had the bed and just to weigh my options. Wishing now I had purchased the bed from them; maybe I wouldn't have been put in this predicament. Afterwards, I called Anderson's customer service and I am informed that they would have to do some "research" to see what happened, pretty much letting me know they needed to double check to see if I was lying about the bed. The lady tells me she will call me back after speaking with who knows who and after all day went by she finally calls me when it's almost 5 o'clock and tells me that whoever she spoke to hasn't gotten back with her and that I would have to wait until Monday. So, I inform her that I just need to someone to come pick the bed up because I can't do anything with it, where are we going to sleep? Even if the bed is reordered do I really have to wait another month or longer, who knows, before I get what I paid for??? This is unacceptable and very unprofessional!



This whole situation is VERY inconvenient and I just want to wash my hands of the whole thing and get a refund. There seems to be nothing I can do except accept the situation and never purchase from Anderson's Furniture store again.

I have never taken the time to...

I have never taken the time to write a review for any business. However, I recently experienced the most exemplary and uncommon example of customer service at Anderson’s Furniture, and I felt that this kind of incredible consideration and devotion to its customers required comment. We have been buying Anderson’s furniture for years because the furniture is beautiful and the prices are reasonable. Recently, we placed an order for some furniture in anticipation of the arrival of some houseguests. When the vendor was unable to deliver the furniture by the anticipated date, and even though this was not Anderson’s fault, Anderson’s literally went to the expense of flying two guys from Dallas to North Carolina in order to drive the furniture to us in time for the arrival of our houseguests! I cannot think of another furniture store anywhere that would have gone to such effort and expense just so that their customer would not be disappointed.



The other nice thing about Anderson’s is that their staff is not simply furniture salespeople, they are designers who will help you select items that will look great in your home. They are helpful without ever being pushy. The designer that helped us at the Southlake store, Donna, did a phenomenally beautiful job – I mean something right out of a magazine. We love our new furniture and would highly recommend Anderson’s if you are looking for furniture, rugs, or accessories.
