Vassel's Catering & Banquet Hall

Beautiful hall with good food (the only reason I'm even giving 1 star), but the owner was very rude to our family during my Aunt's 80th birthday party. We paid for 150 guests, however 35 others showed up which was completely out of our control. In the interest of feeding everyone, my family asked how much it would cost to feed the extra guests, as we were willing to pay. We were told it would cost an extra $2000 which was ridiculous. The owner demanded that the DJ get on the microphone and announce that 35 people had to leave. This would have been a major embarrassment to my Aunt on her special day. I found a dead ant in the bottom of my drink class AFTER I'd drank the entire thing. When I showed it to the owner, he just shrugged his shoulders. When my cousin, who coordinated the event, told him that I'd found a dead ant in my drink, he replied, "That's not my problem." This same man threw a drink across the bar at another guest after she'd ordered it, spilling it all down her cream colored dress. Disgusting experience with an owner with a disgusting attitude. We'll spend our money elsewhere for our next big event.

Owners and waitstaff made this so personal after we buried my Dad at Holy Sepulchre. The food was exceptional!

Nicer and more informal than Vladimers. Perfect setting! After many wakes at Vladimers of late this was so much warmer. Albert the owner even gave my nephew, on leave from the army, a shoe polisher. Who goes to a wake and ends up with a gift!!! It was such a sincere gesture from a great guy.
