Lucha's Comfort Footwear

I wear a brace for foot drop and it's difficult to find shoes to accommodate my brace. I needed a pair of dressy shoes to wear to my granddaughter's wedding. John worked tirelessly to find me a comfortable pair of shoes that were also pretty. I could tell he really enjoys helping people. The selection is enormous. I live 2 hrs away but will purchase all of my shoes here from now on!

DO NOT SHOP HERE. If I could give them zero stars, I would.



1. Terrible customer service. Slow, not helpful (only pointed me to their expensive flip flops, not the ones in the back of the store or on sale), difficult to find someone to even help me. Manager is extremely unpleasant.

2. WAY overpriced. Easily 50% more than other retailers for at least some of their shoes.

3. Out of stock on common colors/sizes.

4. TERRIBLE return policy. Bought shoes and tried to return them in less than 24 hours because they were too tight, but wasn't allowed to because there were toe prints. Guess what, the shoes had toe prints when I bought them, and I wore them for 30 minutes tops (15 in the store, 15 on carpet at home).



Do yourself a favor and do not deal with these guys. For sure never buy anything here unless you do a price check and also are 100% positive you want to keep them.

I had been given arch supports for flat feet and, when I went to Lucha's, the lady who owns the store pointed out that I do not have flat feet. She gave me the correct supports and my feet feel better than they have in a long time!!

My doctor referred this store to me because I have a pretty bad foot issue after having surgery 3 years ago. When I was doing research on this store I found these reviews on yellowpages.com. Granted, the first two reviews were from the same person who was really pissed off and bitter. The last one was because they wouldn't take a used shoe back, which I can understand that they can't sell it after it was worn. I thought that I would give it a shot anyway because I really didn't know where else to go.



After visiting the store, I am compelled to write a positive review in their defense, just because I had a really great experience. I got exceptional help and the woman that was there to help me, had a wealth of knowledge about my foot problem. Even though I was in alot of pain and not in the best of moods, they were very patient. I really feel that the shoes I went home with have helped me with my gait and I will continue to shop at this store.



Honestly, I didn't feel pressured to buy an expensive shoe. The girl that helped me actually saved me money by telling me that the cheaper shoe was better for my foot problem! All-in-all, great store with lots of shoes, knowledgeable staff, and a store I would send my friends and family to.

Lucha's is a large shoestore with a huge selection of shoes, many European; as well as hand bags and hats. The knowledge of the young man who helped us was strong and his gracious consideration of the special needs of my

84 year old mother was exceptional. We will gladly shop here again.

I have never been to such a rude establishment in my life where the sales take pride in belonging in the gutter. The level of salemenship is non exsistant. Do not waste you time or money here get good quality shoes from such sites as www.shoedawg.com Lucha's should have a change of management and staff who at least know what they are doing I would never go there again and they agressive to the point of being intimadating...........
