Element Day Spa

I was very disappointed with my experience at Elements Day Spa. I purchased a Groupon for myself for a one hour massage and one for my mother for a Facial. I have been to a number of day spas before, so the experience is not new to me. When I walked in to Elements, I had to wait for someone to come check me in. This person seems friendly until they realized I was using a Groupon. As soon as I gave her my Groupon, she completely dismissed me. The masseuse was late collecting me for my appointment. I found her to be awkward, and rude, and her massage mediocre. Upon completion of the service, she did not bother to walk me out. I waited at the front desk for over 10 minutes without seeing anyone, so I ended up leaving before even giving a tip (something I have never done!). I'm giving the two star rating as the appearance of the dayspa was nice and clean. I only found out after my experience from other local people that they had similar disappointing massages.



I will check back in with feedback from my mother about her facial. I'm tempted to tell her to cancel her appointment and not waste her time. Perhaps the staff here have been soured by bad experiences with Groupon users, however, this is the first time I have EVER used a Groupon for anything, and they just cost themselves way more than the discounted price of my massage by treating me so poorly.

I had an excellent experience at Element Day Spa in South Paris, Maine. It is a gorgeous spa and all of the staff was really helpful and took the time to answer the questions that I had about the skincare and makeup lines that they carry. I am so excited to not have to order my Bare Escentuals online anymore!



I would highly recommend visiting!
