Stouffers Thrift Store

I have always made everything from scratch. I have to say that I am hard to please and can be privately critical of institutional food.

My husband drives steel plate and tube daily. He frequents the Cleveland and surrounding areas. Saturday he wanted to check out the Stouffers Nestlé thrift store.

March 7, 2015 we took a ride from our home East of Youngstown to Solon to check out this store.

Today I had thawed a pot roast and a macaroni and cheese. I put them in the oven and made several other sides. I can't praise this food enough. It tasted homemade. Far from the typical frozen fare.

The beef was tender. The gravy delicious.

The macaroni and cheese is phenomenal and tastes like the version I make.

If you're into Nestle's frozen food products, and your freezer can handle food service size trays, then there are some real deals here depending on the day you shop. From cases of special edition Hot Pockets to Toll-house cookie dough, and French Bread Pizza it is all discounted here, over the course of a month. Just don't expect their whole menu of products on any given day.
