The French Cowgirl

As I was walking along Cedros I passed by a store that begged me to come in. There were bright floral aprons and a warm leather chair; the boutique oozed southern comfort and hospitality. Upon entering, I was not disappointed. A visual feast, The French Cowgirl is a little bit of everything. The owner, Sunny Elizabeth, is the French Cowgirl, a Scottsdale, AZ, native, she grew up in a culture of Cowboys and Indians. Rows of antlers, and trophy mounts line the walls along with acclaimed wildlife painter, Diane Whitehead. Customized furniture, lighting, and accessories exhibit an eclectic rustic elegance. The only importer of Brazil Baroque hand painted furniture, she takes pride in her eclectic tastes, and I agree. The store is a wonderful celebration of the unconventional.
