Absolutely worst service I've ever received. Requested that a truck be picked up from my home on a Thursday and worked on. Monday rolled around & no one had gotten the truck. So I drove it to the shop since no one could tell me when it would be picked up(mind you this is a main vehicle for our family). This truck had no brakes. We drove it to Shepard's and dropped it off. It sat there for two weeks and they didn't do a thing to it. I called multiple times to check on the status of the vehicle and asked the mechanic to call me back, gave three contact persons and phone numbers. No one ever called- even after they said they would at least 5 times. Went in to check on the status of the truck in person & the receptionist gave the biggest run around that parts are hard to find for that truck, the mechanic would call me back within two days. No call was ever made until today, two weeks and a day later. Truck sat at the shop for two weeks until they got around to looking at it. Absolutely ridiculous. Never again.

They charge 30% more for an oil change than other locations in the area. That is for the same oil and filter. Never again.

It's been a few years since I last lived in the Sneads Ferry area but I remember the great service I received at Sheperd's. I don't know if the guy that helped me is still working there but I remember his name was Don (the same as my dad's). I don't know that much about cars but he waited patiently while I asked a ton of questions. If I ever move back near my old neigborhood I'll be a regular customer again.

I take my car to Shepard's every time I need something done to it. From oil changes to brakes. They have fair prices and great people. They have been in Sneads Ferry for a very long time and I wouldn't trust anyone else to work on my car.

I am very pleased with the service I received at Shepard's. My car was broke down, I had them tow it in and they were able to tell me what was wrong and fix it all with in 2 days and for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend Shepard's for towing and auto repair.

This shop will definitely fix anything wrong with your vehicle. And they will definitely overcharge you as well. After going to them twice I did some research on prices that I thought were a little excessive. I was charged $374(cost for part) for a fuel pump when the are easily located through GM dealers on the internet for $240. After more research, I found that all of their parts prices seemed to be hiked. Total I paid $250 to replace belt tensioner and a couple belts and $681 to replace a fuel pump. Those prices sound like just another Jacksonville business that could care less about the customer. Before I got the car back second time they were already telling me how a test drive showed that even more work was needed (an extra $500 repair). I will be taking my business elsewhere and I recommend the same to anyone else.

dont take your car here i went for a front end alignment on the phone i was told 59.95 i leave the car they call me back said they couldnt do it cause of another problem so i go to get the car and she says your bill is 60.00 i asked for what you didnt do anything she says thats for me not being able to do it i could see paying it if someone had said on the phone its 59.95 even if we cant do it but i was never told that so i paid 60.00 for a piece of paper. I will never take my car there ever again
