Dr. Ingrid K Roskos, MD

I've seen Dr Roskos several times. She remembers personal details about me and is very understanding of my fear and anxiety of regular exams. Sometimes she can be intense but I know she is a good doctor.

I took a pregnancy test it was positive then took another it was negative...by the time dr roskos finally made an appointment for me I was bleeding. instead of sending my to hospital or seeing me herself she sent me for blood work which of course said not preg.. I was bleeding days before. this happened again a year later and I was indeed preg. she didn't see me sent me for blood this time had cramping my preg test were positive before that. I got sent to lab again no appointment a friend pushed me to go to er.. it was indeed a miscarriage @ about 4 weeks. the er dr said follow up with her she should do pelvic exam as well as ultrasound. I reluctantly went back to dr r she did a pelvic exam no ultra sound .iwas upset this time bc I knew I lost my baby... and she says to me while laying there I was "slightly pregnant". It was the rudest most insensitive thing ive heard a dr say. I will never go back and recommend anybody else except her for obgyn. she was rude years before to me as well when I was trying for my first child. I hope she sees this review and thinks about the words she uses after any kind of miscarriage. lady get a heart or change your career choice! only one star bc it will not let me give no stars!

I chose Dr Roskos as my ob/gyn when I discovered I was pregnant. Thinking that I could tell my doctor everything in confidence, I informed her that I had previously had problems with depression, although it had been years before. I thought you were supposed to be able to trust your doctor.



Three days after my son was born (the day after I brought him home) I was visited by the Office of Child Services because she had told them that I had problems with depression and my child may be in danger. I had not suffered from depression for many years and had no problems with post-partum depression, yet I almost lost my son because she did not respect the doctor/patient confidentiality that I expected and thought was integral in that relationship.



If you have ANY personal problems, please avoid this doctor, or at the very least, do not inform her of those issues or you may also risk losing your child.



After having to go thru an evaluation, it was proven that I am no threat (and have never been a threat) to my son and he is now a happy and healthy child. But Dr Roskos chose to put my child at risk over factors that were in my past.



I DO NOT RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE. She is not personable and she choses to put her ideas before the safety and welfare of her patients. PLEASE avoid her at all cost.
